Born and raised in New Zealand, Lynda first travelled to the United Kingdom where her father was born in 1976, and from there her love of the UK was ignited. Back again four times in the late 90's, and again to live and work from 2001 until 2005, when she then returned to New Zealand to become a Grandmother. And now, 20 years later in 2025, Lynda has returned to her roots!

In actual fact, DEZIGNSCENE was born in the UK at Farnham Art & Design University Farnham Surrey. Lynda created a magazine to present all her completed assignments, and called it 'Dezign Scene' and on Lynda's return to New Zealand in 2005, she registered the company name and has used it ever since for her web design, start-up and marketing business.
